LONDRE Bodywear is changing the world of fashion one sustainable swim + loungewear piece at a time.

Behold, LONDRE Bodywear- the latest winners on a recent episode of the wildly popular CBC-broadcasted show, DRAGONS’ DEN, where entrepreneurs pitch big-time venture capitalists in hopes of securing an investment. Co-founders and best friends Hannah Todd and Ainsley Rose successfully proved the concept of their brand, showcasing that sustainable fashion can come out on top.

After explaining their advocacy for social change and donations to female health and climate change initiatives, which in turn, has created a massive community base of customers that’s continuing to grow, Hannah and Ainsley won over the youngest Dragon, Michele Romanow, who was impressed by their use of customer engagement and unique eco-friendly initiatives.

The best-friend duo dreamt up the idea of their brand while working on a photo-shoot on a beach in Sayulita, Mexico. They were inspired to create the most flattering, high-quality swimwear with the lowest quality impact.  LONDRE is excited to prove that fashion doesn’t need to be the high polluting industry it’s seen as today, and is thrilled to see that others continue to support and believe in this concept.

The brand is made ethically and sustainably in Canada and has a history of wanting to create positive change in the global community. So far, LONDRE has recycled 100,000 plastic bottles from our oceans by using the waste to create sustainable, ethically made swimwear in an extended size range. Most recently, and upon extensively listening to its customer base, the brand has expanded into eco-friendly loungewear made from sustainably harvested wood pulp.

The website features a wide variety of beautifully designed and comfortable swimwear in an array of colours for every body type.  You can also shop sustainably made loungewear sets that are as chic as they are comfy. Through a continued effort to give back to the world around us, the brand also gives consumers the opportunity to purchase “Plant a Coral” where your donations go towards researchers and skilled divers fragmenting coral and spreading evenly across spawning structures to encourage reproduction.

As the brand continues to evolve, creating a lasting impact is at the heart of LONDRE. The founders use their growing business to raise awareness and funds for women’s health and environmental initiatives, donating over $10,000 to organizations such as Amazon Watch and the Yellow Hammer Fund.

With an exciting new investment of $208K, they’ll only continue to listen to their consumer base and expand together while sticking to their sustainability standards. LONDRE is continuously loved by celebs across the globe, such as Niki Reed, Nina Dobrev, Camila Mendes, Kaitlyn Bristowe and now, Michele Romanow herself!
