Paramount Plus drops the official trailer for the highly anticipated second season of “Special Ops: Lioness.”

Lioness Season 2 Trailer Released
The trailer that was released on September 19th promises fans another season of all-American action and suspense.
Saldaña’s character’s daughter asked, “Why out of all the jobs in the world would you pick this one?”
Saldaña’s character replied, “There is no such thing as immoral work. There is survival, and there is surrender.”
The trailer has already amassed over 764,000 views.
Special Ops: Lioness Cast
Zoe Saldaña, Nicole Kidman, Michael Kelly and Morgan Freeman are just a few of the star-studded cast that’s returning for the second season.
The first episode of the second season, titled “Beware the Old Soldier,” is to be released on October 27th, 2024.
Lioness Season 2 Plot
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the plot is as follows: “As the CIA’s fight against terror moves closer to home, Joe (Saldaña), Kaitlyn (Kidman), and Byron (Kelly) enlist a new Lioness operative to infiltrate a previously unknown threat.”
“With pressure mounting from all sides, Joe is forced to confront the profound personal sacrifices she has made as the leader of the Lioness program.”
Nicole Kidman’s Mother’s Death
Early in September, Kidman’s mother, Janelle, passed away while she was in Venice for the Venice Film Festival.
On September 12th, Kidman took to her Instagram to thank everyone who has supported her while she grieves the passing of her mother.

“My sister and I along with our family want to thank you for the outpouring of love and kindess we have felt this week,” Kidman wrote.
“Every message we have received from those who loved and admired our Mother has meant more to us than we will ever be able to express. Thank you from our whole family for respecting our privacy as we take care of each other,” Kidman continued.
