Stalker Joe Goldberg is hanging up his baseball cap as Netflix wraps up filming the final season of “YOU.”
August 16, 2024– Netflix and actor Penn Badgley have announced the fifth and final season of their hit-series, “YOU,” has finished filming.
Badgley, who plays the main character “Joe Goldberg” in the series, posted a comedic TikTok to commemorate the show’s wrap up.

“You see how I show up to work? Very mindful, very demure. I don’t do too much when I’m at work, I’m very mindful,” Badgley said.
“Playing a romantic icon for five seasons, I’m very modest, I’m very mindful. See the shirt? Showing the shoulders, not the boulders,” Badgley continued.
The TikTok is poking fun at the ongoing trend that another TikTok creator started when they said that a person should arrive to work in a “demure” way.
Badgley’s TikTok has amassed up to 1.5 million likes and 6.8 million views.
Is YOU Season 5 Coming?
The hit-series was renewed for its final season in March 2023.
According to IMDb, when the renewal was announced, Netflix noted that the fifth season would premiere in 2024.
It is currently unclear if “YOU” will premiere in 2024, as the SAG-AFTRA strikes delayed most productions in Hollywood.
Are Blake Lively and Penn Still Friends?
According to US Weekly, the pair are still allegedly good friends, even though they called it quits after two years of dating while filming “Gossip Girl.”
