Former Disney star Raven-Symoné mourns the loss of her younger brother Blaize on her birthday.

38-year-old Raven-Symoné recently celebrated her 38th birthday but it was tinged with heartbreak.

Speaking from the heart, the ‘That’s so Raven’ star said it was “bittersweet.”
“Thank you the all the love yesterday. It was felt beyond. Hard to fully celebrate knowing that I’m here and he is not,” she wrote.
“It was a little bittersweet for me to be honest because last month I lost my brother, Blaize” Raven said in the clip.

Last month, the actress lost her brother to Colon cancer and used this time to honour her brother and let the world know he was loved and missed.
“He was battling colon cancer for about two years and he is in a better place now. He’s loved and missed, and the emotions that have been weaving in and out of my body and mind and my family have been a roller coaster.”
Our hearts break for the beautiful and kind star and her family as well as a young man who still had his whole life to live.

However, the 38-year-old actress did write in the post to “expect more on Dec. 16.”
Coincidently her younger brother’s birthday.

But before ending her video, the star shared special some words to her brother and to all she calls family.
“I love you, Blaize,” I love you, guys. My family on Instagram, my family at home and my family and friends. You guys have been such an amazing support system and I love you all.”

Meanwhile, 31-year-old Blaize also leaves behind parents Lydia Gaulden and Christopher Pearman.
And sister-in-law Miranda Maday whom Raven-Symoné married in 2020.
