Smith, 55, walked up on the Academy Awards stage and slapped comedian Chris Rock across the face after he made a joke regarding Smith’s wife.

“He’s an A–hole”

“He has been hiding the fact of who he really is and it was exposed that night,” Schneider said. “He’s really an a—hole.”

Schneider served as an elected official for SAG-AFTRA in 2022, which he said is why he wasn’t allowed to say anything at the time, as the committee was responsible for punishing Smith for his actions.

Shortly after the Oscars, the Academy announced that Smith had been banned from returning to the Oscars for the next decade.

Schneider also revealed that the Academy was “cowardly” for trying to be so politically correct.

“If I had done that, they would have hauled me out to prison,” Schneider said. “They were so worried about being racist.”

Schneider wanted to make it known that he does not agree with violence, even it is in the defence of your wife, which is what Smith did.

“Violence is what it is. It doesn’t matter what the color of your skin is or what religion you are, if you commit a crime in front of other people, you get hauled out of there,” he said. “You can’t hit another dude.”
