Colin Jost, non-athlete and comedian, has hurt his foot in Tahiti while covering the Olympic surfing.
July 30, 2024- SNL comedian Colin Jost is finding out what it takes to be an Olympic athlete while covering the Olympic surfing events in Tahiti, French Polynesia.
Serving as a sports reporter for NBC, Jost has been recruited to cover the surfing competitions in Teahupo’o, Tahiti.

According to NPR, the Olympic committee decided to host the surfing events in Tahiti because they wanted to highlight French territories worldwide, rather than just in France.

Jost took to Instagram to show off his freshly bandaged foot.

“You know it’s going great when you’ve been to the Olympic medal tent more than any of the athletes,” Jost wrote.
Some of Jost’s toes, as seen in the photo, are wrapped in white bandages.
Retired MLB pitcher, CC Sabathia, took the comments saying, “Golf game is gonna suffer.”
Fellow comedian, Jeremiah Watkins, also commented saying, “What in the Ninja Turtles is going on here.”
