The Jets ship is sinking. Is Russel Wilson back? The Steelers dominated in primetime 37-15.

October 21, 2024- Yet another primetime loss for the New York Jets comes this past Sunday Night in Pittsburgh. Russel Wilson, who hasn’t played an NFL snap in nearly a year, dominated a Jets defense that looked simply deflated.

Wilson threw for 269 yards and 2 touchdowns while showing flashes of his former self. On the flip side, Rodgers played poorly, throwing for 276 yards, 1 touchdown, and 2 interceptions.

Jets vs. Steelers Stats

Davante Adams, former Raider turned Jet, had a disappointing reunion game with his former Quarterback Aaron Rodgers.  Adams caught three balls on six targets for 30 yards throughout the whole game and the duo struggled to find their connection. The Jets leading receiver for the night happened to be their running back Breece Hall. Hall caught six balls for 109 yards while also rushing for a 13-yard touchdown.

For the Steelers, it was a great comeback game for their stud wide receiver George Pickens. Pickens caught 5 balls for 111 yards and a touchdown. Running back Najee Harris also performed well, rushing for 102 yards and a touchdown.

Russel Wilson Steelers

Wilson started off slow, going three and out on the first three drives of the game. Fans were even booing and calling for Justin Fields to be subbed in. This seemed to light a fire under Wilson as he came out firing in the second half.
