Nobody does heartbreak better than Tswift…and nobody does quarantine better apparently either! Taylor Swift announced via  Instagram on February 11th 2020, that she is releasing her new version of her “Fearless” album, which has 26 songs including 6 never before released songs from the vault.

As an “OG” Taylor fan since I saw her beautiful long curly ringlets in the “Teardrops Of My Guitar” music video as a fellow curly-haired writer, it was love at first sight. I am ecstatic to listen to the new “never before released songs from the vault”. Personally, I always thought her bonus tracks were extremely underrated, “Come Back Be Here”, “You’re In Love”,“ The Other Side Of The Door”, “Jump Then Fall”,  these songs are closer to my heart than most of her singles were.

I was at the “Fearless” concert in 2010, this was my favourite version of Taylor. She has always written honestly, but at the beginning of her career, she was still vulnerable and naive. By her 3rd album, the media was tearing her apart for being the girl who would write only about her break-ups, but what is so wrong with writing about her feelings? It’s her story to tell and she should be able to tell it any way that she wants to.

By 2013 at her “Red” concert Taylor owned up to who the media said she was. She opened that concert (which yes…I attended) saying “ I am the soundtrack to you’re crazy.” So here we go Taylor this is my personal “soundtrack to my crazy”.
