‘Queen Of Rock N Roll’, Tina Turner, Dead At 83
Tina Turner, a legendary figure in music passed away on Wednesday at age 83. She was best known for her powerful vocals, electrifying stage presence, and a career that spans over six decades.

Turner’s rep confirmed her passing in a Telegraph article. Turner passed away due to fighting a long illness. She was diagnosed with intestinal cancer in 2016. The ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It’ singer passed in her home in Switzerland.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Tina Turner. With her music and her boundless passion for life, she enchanted millions of fans around the world and inspired the stars of tomorrow. Today we say goodbye to a dear friend who leaves us all her greatest work: her music. All our heartfelt compassion goes out to her family. Tina, we will miss you dearly.” (Via TMZ)
“There will be a private funeral ceremony attended by close friends and family,” Turner’s publicist said. “Please respect the privacy of her family at this difficult time.” (Via Telegraph)
