Vanessa Hudgens and her husband Cole Tucker have officially stepped into parenthood, welcoming their first child.
July 4, 2024 – Vanessa Hudgens, best known for her role in High School Musical, has welcomed her first child with husband Cole Tucker. The actress was spotted leaving a hospital in Santa Monica, California, on Wednesday, cradling her newborn while being wheeled to a waiting car. Tucker, an MLB player, was also present, handling their luggage and helping with the transition home.

Hudgens, 35, revealed her pregnancy in March during the Oscars. She arrived at the event in a black turtleneck gown that highlighted her baby bump, making her announcement a memorable one. The couple’s journey to parenthood began in 2020 when they started dating and culminated in a romantic wedding in Mexico in December 2023.

The birth of their baby coincided with Tucker’s 28th birthday, adding an extra layer of joy to the occasion. Hudgens and Tucker have yet to announce the name or gender of their newborn, keeping those details private for now.

Following their departure from the hospital, Hudgens addressed the media frenzy on Instagram, stating, “We’re disappointed that our family’s privacy was disrespected and exploited during this very special time due to the greed of a long lens camera feeding the media. The couple first met during a meditation group call led by Jay Shetty during the COVID-19 pandemic. Their relationship quickly blossomed, leading to an engagement in Paris and a heartfelt wedding ceremony attended by close friends and family.
