Jamaal Bowman Fire Alarm

As mentioned in this article, “the House had been deliberating a bill to extend government spending at current levels until Nov. 17” during the time of the false alarm being pulled. According to Bowman, he claimed he “thought the alarm would open the door” insinuating and alleging it was an accident. As the article claims, Bowman also supposedly claimed that he “was just trying to get to my vote and the door that’s usually open wasn’t open, it was closed.”

However, the video evidence shows Bowman pulling down two emergency exit signs from the doors before pulling the alarm. He then proceeded to run away.
