All about Hollywood’s alleged weight loss prescription drug, Ozempic.

Ozempic is all anyone can talk about lately, with the prescription drug being linked to weight loss among celebs in Hollywood. In fact, Heather McDonald went viral recently for alleging that Kanye West’s new wife, Bianca Censori, looks like “Kim before Ozempic” in a recent comment left on an Instagram post by Page Six.

According to this article, Ozempic is a prescription drug used to manage blood sugar levels in adults that have type 2 diabetes. It is also known to help lower specific risks- i.e. strokes and heart attacks- in adults that suffer from both diabetes and heart disease.

Ozempic for Weight Loss

According to alleged comments and recent posts, people are speculating that Hollywood celebs are using Ozempic to aid with weight loss. According to this article, Ozempic is not approved for use as a weight loss medication. However- that being said- you might lose weight while prescribed Ozempic as a result of the medication causing a decrease in appetite. As well- in some cases- Ozempic might be prescribed off-label for weight management.

As mentioned in a previous HOLR article, the rumour mill has been churning regarding Kim Kardashian allegedly using this prescription drug to help with recent weight loss. As mentioned here, “clinical trials have shown that Ozempic is a safe and effective treatment for obese patients to aid weight loss.” This article also suggests that Ozempic has supposedly recently been dubbed a “secret celebrity weight loss drug.”

Kim Kardashian Weight Loss

Kim Kardashian came under fire during the 2022 Met Gala after speaking out about losing 16 pounds in 3 weeks to fit into Marilyn Monroe’s iconic “Happy Birthday Mr. President” dress for the event. During an episode of the star’s show, The Kardashians, Kim can be seen saying, “I have about three weeks to fit into this dress. I’m going to do every last thing I can to try to make this happen.”

So, did Kim use Ozempic to lose weight? Nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

This is supposedly how Kim lost the weight in a pinch:

As HOLR previously reported, as mentioned in Healthy Balance, Kim Kardashian’s 3-week weight loss journey involved her cutting carbs and eating  “just the cleanest veggies and protein.” Kim also ran on a treadmill and wore a sauna suit twice a day. The star allegedly crash-dieted in order to fit into the Marilyn Monroe dress and is now looking slimmer than ever.

What do you think about Hollywood stars allegedly using Ozempic to lose weight? Although these supposed reports have not been confirmed, Ozempic being dubbed the secret celebrity weight loss drug is interesting, nonetheless.
