The star-studded Red Band Trailer is rated “R” for its gruesome violence and gore.

After its first trailer in June, the second trailer of the much-awaited movie The Expendables 4 was out yesterday. The Red Band trailer is full of action sequences. Check it out below:

The Expendables 4 is the sequel of The Expendable 3, which was released in 2014. Seeing the trailer makes it pretty evident that there is no shortage of bloodshed. Moreover, the film’s official synopsis states that it will be an action-packed adventure (as noted here).

“Armed with every weapon they can get their hands on and the skills to use them, The Expendables are the world’s last line of defense and the team that gets called when all other options are off the table,” the synopsis continues. “But new team members with new styles and tactics are going to give ‘new blood’ a whole new meaning.”

Apart from the trailer, the posters of the new and old characters were revealed on Instagram.

The new entrants, or the New Blood of the Expendables, are Megan Fox, 50 Cent, Andy Garcia, Levy Tran, Jacob Scipio, Tony Jaa, and Iko Uwais.

Overall, the movie looks stellar, but will the audiences embrace it? Especially when Expendables 3 didn’t manage to appeal that much.

Directed by Scott Waugh. It will be in theatres on 22 September 2023.
