Bydee officially launched its newest swimwear line, titled the Empress collection, which has been designed to make you feel the power of magic through a selection of curated styles, designs, and colours.
Bydee is a forward-thinking Australian-based apparel brand with a strong focus on creating a unique lineup of swimwear and intimates, all inspired by a love for travel. Creative director and founder, Dessy Hairis, knew her attention to detail was going to be a large part of her brand, especially when it came to designing the latest collection. The Empress collection features notes of romantic, feminine touches, where each style is driven by a love for travel. Each piece is also created to fit the feminine form and has been thoughtfully designed to maximize comfort.
The new Empress collection is described as being a “carefully curated capsule that features florals and sumptuous lilacs,” but also has a “powerful sense of magic, the magic of good times, serendipity and wild unexpected adventure.”
The two main themes for this capsule collection are the beautiful prints and rich colourways. The first print, titled Diana, is a romantic, hand-painted floral design that features an array of colours from; soft lilac and rich plum to green accents, which give the entire collection a magical feel. The fabric evokes a sense of emotion because it is a hand-painted design by German artist Cathrin Gressieker, who is known for her love of travel and her signature vibrant watercolour designs.
The second print, titled Lila, is a solid lilac-coloured design. This print was created to celebrate the divine and honour the brave. In this regard, Lila also brings a sense of magic to the collection and features a ribbed fabric from Barcelona that has a textured self-fabric & recycled lining. The suits designed in the colourway Lila feature luxe, soft, knit fabric that ultimately highlights the richness and boldness of this stunning colour in every way.
This top features a triangle-shaped cup with a comfortable, and adjustable, double strap detail.
