Miley Cyrus explains why she won’t tour

Miley Cyrus has always given it her all when performing on stage. But, don’t expect any more parties in the U.S.A.  When the topic of touring came into play in a recent interview with British Vogue, the iconic ‘wrecking ball’ singer explains that she won’t be touring any time soon.

“After the last [headline arena] show I did [in 2014], I kind of looked at it as more of a question. And I can’t”, said Cyrus.

Miley Cyrus further explains, “Like singing for hundreds of thousands of people isn’t really the thing that I love. There’s no connection. There’s no safety.”

In following up on her recent interview, Miley explains on her Instagram in further detail why she won’t be touring. On May 23, Cyrus posts a screenshot of her notes app.

Although Miley Cyrus seemed very put off by touring in her interview, she clarifies to fans by saying, “Performing for YOU has been some of the best days of my life,” the 30-year-old continued. “and we will continue this journey together as we have for the last almost two decades.”

But don’t get your hopes up just yet. Miley Cyrus ends the note with the message saying, “If you’ve been following my career you know that I always change and the way I feel about that could too”. It doesn’t seem like the end of the road after all…
