Grace Loves Lace is a cult-favourite Australian-based wedding dress brand. The brand has been known for having the ‘world’s most pinned dress’ and now its designs are officially arriving in Toronto.

Grace Loves Lace

On August 26th, Grace Loves Lace is opening its glass atrium doors in Toronto’s distillery district. The brand’s recognition comes from their beautifully designed dresses which are handmade at their atelier in the beachside town of Burleigh Heads, Australia.

The brand made the decision to expand to Toronto after an overwhelming customer demand. The founder and creative director Megan Ziems stated, “When we started discussing launching to a new country, we knew Canada was ‘the one’. We receive around 100 enquiries a month from our Canadian brides-to-be wanting to see, touch and try on their dream GRACE gown – so the launch in Toronto was a no-brainer for us.”

The opening of the Toronto showroom marks its 17th opening and its 8th opening since January 2020. The brand has a philosophy that matches Toronto to the T, the brand prides itself on their ‘Australian vibe’ which welcomes brides into their showroom, “In many ways, it’s all about creating a truly Australian vibe – laid-back living at its finest, which we know Toronto loves. Appointments at GRACE are complimentary, we encourage lots of photos and allow our guests to try on multiple gowns, all while enjoying the experience with loves ones. Our appointments are personalized, comfortable and stress-free, which is what truly sets us apart.”

Grace Loves Lace

Megan Ziems is the creative director and founder of Grace Loves Lace and turned the brand into a cult favourite. Megan’s goal was to create gowns and dresses that disillusioned the industry, creating a ‘uniform’ that kept with tradition but was made and designed differently. The style, design, and make of each gown is handmade in Australia, and Megan wanted to make sure quality was an important part of the making of each gown.

For Grace Loves Lace, the price tags do not reflect the quality at all. For the quality of each gown, Grace wanted to make sure her clients were getting the dress they deserve at the price they deserve, not sacrificing style for comfort.

Grace Loves Lace began in 2010, and the brand has changed the perspective on bridal dressing, which made them the brand with the ‘world’s most pinned dress’ having over 2.5 million pins on Pinterest.

The Toronto showroom opens in the distillery district on August 26th and appointments are complimentary so if you’re looking for the best dress in town be sure to head over to Grace Loves Lace at 39 Parliament Street, and find the dress of your dreams.
