In recent years there has been more of a focus on Reality TV on Netflix so we’ve compiled a list of our 5 favourites. Check out this list of the 5 best reality tv shows on Netflix.

Selling Sunset 

Selling Sunset offers a few of our favourite things rolled into one pretty reality tv show. Luxury real estate, a stylish cast, lots of drama and a touch of information about the industry. Selling Sunset season 4 was released on November 24th and saw newcomer Emma Hernan join the original cast. Naturally drama ensued. Emma Hernan is a realtor but also owns the company Emma Leigh & Co, which sells vegan empanadas.

Chrstine Quinn, in particular, had drama with Emma and this will be sure to continue in season 5. Selling Sunset season 5 will also focus on the romance between Chrishell Stause and Jason Oppenheim. While the romance has since ended, it still looks like it will make for a great storyline. Selling Sunset season 5 does not currently have an official release date. So stay tuned. It looks like Amanza, Maya, Chrishell, Mary, Christine, Heather Maya and Davina will all be returning next season.

Love is Blind

Love is Blind season 2 came out on Netflix March 4th and started trending pretty quickly. The premise of the show follows singles trying to find love without ever meeting each other face to face. The focus is to place emphasis on the emotional connection versus the physical one. After going through a round of verbal meetings, the participants pick their best match, get engaged, and only then meet in person. Of course, this social experiment is the perfect recipe for drama and has viewers hooked. The Love is Blind cast this season includes, Shake and Deepti, Danielle and Nick, Jarette and Lyanna, Natalie and Shayne, Kyle, Mallory, Nick, Sal, Shayne and Shaina. Byron Baes

Byron Baes is a Netflix original, set in Byron Bay, Australia. But, what is Byron Baes about? It follows a group of Aussies living in the boho surf town as they navigate love and friendship. When newcomers Jade Kevin Foster and Sarah St. James move to the idyllic town, drama follows. This show is full of love triangles, spats between friends and a whole lot of hippie activity set in front of the most beautiful backdrop. Byron Baes is a fun watch that you can binge pretty quickly. While there is a lot of talk about the Influencer community in Byron Bay, most of the cast are locals and not Influencers. With the exception of Elias Chigros who also appeared on Love Island Australia and Jade Kevin Foster. Although with the way Netflix reality shows typically go, we’re sure the others numbers will grow soon too.

Bling Empire 

Bling Empire is a reality show that follows the lives of a group of LA Asian socialites. The show is full of glamour, friendship, love and drama. It is the first American reality tv show to have an East Asian cast. This show is an addictive watch as you see the cast attending parties, arguing with one another and going on extravagant shopping sprees. The Bling Empire cast includes, Kevin Kreider, Kane Lim, Christine Chiu, Gabriel Chiu, Kelly Mi Li, Anna Shay, Cherie Chan, Jessey Lee, and DJ Kim Lee. Bling Empire season 2 has been confirmed but no release date has been announced yet.

My Unorthodox Life

My Unorthodox Life follows entrepreneur and former ultra-orthodox Julia Haart and her family as they navigate relationships and their work. In the reality TV show Julia Haart is the CEO of Elite World Group but since filing for divorce from owner Silvio Scaglia she no longer works there. If there is a season 2 of My Unorthodox Life, it will certainly have even more drama. In the latest news, Julia has allegedly stolen Scaglia’s Bentley, worth nearly half a million dollars. In the meantime, you can watch season 1 featuring Julia Haart, Batsheva Haart, Miriam Haart, Shlomo Haart, Aron Haart and Silvio Scaglia on Netflix.
