The official trailer for Season 4 Part 1 of Netflix’s physiological thriller series ‘You’ is out. It turns the tables on Penn Badgley’s Joe Goldberg as he becomes the target of a killer in London.

The brand-new official trailer of ‘You’ revives us to Joe Goldberg, a compulsive stalker, and murderer who has used numerous names over the course of the three seasons to hide his past crimes. Joe has attempted to rebuild his life after moving from New York to Los Angeles and is now living in London as Professor Johnathan Moore.

While he’s here, he runs into both familiar and unfamiliar faces, including Season 3’s Marienne and discovers himself joining the social circle of London’s wealthy and powerful. Though he makes an effort to conceal them, Joe’s old “habits” begin to resurface as he tries to live his new life.

The Eat the Rich Murderer, another serial killer in London who preys on the wealthy, is revealed in the teaser. Joe appears to be the Eat the Rich Killer’s next victim when he receives cryptic signals from an unidentified observer.

Based on Caroline Kepnes’ novel series, You premiered on Lifetime in 2017 before being picked up by Netflix in December 2018 for its second season, where it has remained ever since. The third season premiered on October 15, 2021, and the show was already revived for a fourth season before the previous season aired.

Sera Gamble is the series showrunner for the You television series, which she co-created with Greg Berlanti. In addition, the two are executive producers alongside Michael Foley, Gina Girolamo, Leslie Morgenstein, Sarah Schechter, and Gina Girolamo. Along with Badgley and Gabrielle, other important cast members for the upcoming season include Charlotte Ritchie, Lukas Gage, Ed Speleers, Tilly Keeper, Amy-Leigh Hickman, Niccy Lin, Aidan Cheng, Brad Alexander, Ozioma Whenu, Eve Austin.

Others Working on ‘You’

Gamble, Foley, Leo Richardson, Neil Reynolds, Kara Lee Corthron, Mairin Reed, Justin W. Lo, Amanda Johnson-Zetterström, Dylan Cohen, Hillary Benefiel, Justin Lo, and AB Chao are among the Season 4 writers. Season lead Badgley is one of the season’s directors, as are John Scott, Shamim Sarif, Harry Jierjian, and Rachel Leiterman.

‘You’ Filming Location & Producers

The season was shot between March 21, 2022, and August 27, 2022, in London, the United Kingdom, Paris, France, and Los Angeles, California. Berlanti Productions, Alloy Entertainment, and A+E Studios are producing You in association with Warner Horizon Television, now Warner Bros. Television.
