A Quiet Place: Day One Cast
Actors Lupita Nyongo and Joseph Quinn shared the silver screen in the sci-fi thriller “A Quiet Place: Day One.” The film, which is set to release on digital tomorrow, has also released some deleted scenes. One scene in particular was an emotional exchange between Nyongo and Quinn’s characters. In the scene, Samaria (Nyongo) asks Eric (Quinn) about what he was doing before they met post-alien invasion. Eric then opens up in an emotional dialog with Samaria about his journey leaving his home. The scene shows how the pair emotionally connected to each other in a time of stress and disaster.
Nyongo and Quinn reveal they didn’t have much time to bond prior to the movie’s filming. But Nyongo recalled an exchange between the pair that helped ease a bit of nerves. She stated, “I remember meeting him at the camera test and we said hello, introduced ourselves. I asked him, ‘How are you doing?’ He said, ‘I’m a little nervous.’ I said, ‘I’m a little nervous too.’ That was the first sign that we were open to being vulnerable together.”. (here) From there, both actors quickly created a long-lasting bond that made them working on this film together even more successful. A Quiet Place: Day One is available to buy or rent on digital July 30 and releases on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD Oct. 8.
