But his fellow Aerosmith bandmates gave a statement via a lengthy Instagram post on their lead’s condition.
“Unfortunately, Steven’s vocal injury is more serious than initially thought.”
“His doctor has confirmed that in addition to the damage to his vocal cords, he fractured his larynx which requires ongoing care.”
“He is receiving the best medical treatment available to ensure his recovery is swift, but given the nature of a fracture, he is being told patience is essential.”
Tyler receives an outpour of love from the fans.
Despite the clear disappointment from fans, they still rallied for the lead singer.
X user @JosephRandazzo said, “Sad to hear. Saw them from the ’70’s thru the 90’s. Awesome voice. Age is rough on the vocals. Hope is gets well soon.”
Meanwhile, other users expressed their understanding and sent heartfelt wishes for a speedy recovery.

“I am heartbroken to not be out there with Aerosmith, my brothers and the incredible Black Crowes, rocking with the best fans in the world.”
“I promise we will be back as soon as we can,” Tyler concluded in his statement.
Band members “hopeful” the tour will resume.
Unfortunately, the Aerosmith members could not do more than hope that the tour would resume in 2024.
But cannot say when in 2024 they might finish the ‘Peace Out’ Tour.
We wish Steven Tyler and the rest of Aerosmith the best and hope to see them out in 2024.
