Angus Cloud’s mother speaks out!

Lisa Cloud has denied rumours her son, ‘Euphoria’ star Angus Cloud took his own life.

“Social media posts have suggested his death was intentional,” the actor’s mom wrote on Facebook. “I want you to know that is not the case.”

As revealed last week, the 25-year-old star’s mother made a frantic call to 911 after finding her son unresponsive at the home in Oakland.

“I want you all to know I appreciate your love for my family at this shattered time,” Lisa wrote on Friday.

However, she added I also want you to know that although my son was in deep grief about his father’s [Conor Hickey] untimely death from mesothelioma, his last day was a joyful one.”

Understandably, the 25-year-old’s mother wanted readers to know what her son’s last day was like.

Next, she wrote, “He was reorganizing his room and placing items around the house with intent to stay.”

Moreover, Lisa wanted to make it clear that her son did not intent to “check out” of this world. “His struggles were real. He gave and received so much love and support to and from his tribe.”

Angus Cloud death sheds light on the importance of mental health.

For many on social media, the actor’s death was especially shocking. One post on X said, “25 years is way too young. there needs to be more of a conversation about the struggles of mental health/D.A.”

Another user wrote, “Hate to hear news like this. Mental health is so serious. We have to check on each other.”

While another user said, “mental health is so important. sending love to anyone who needs it, please remember that you’re never alone.”

Laura Erickson-Schroth, chief medical officer for The Jed Foundation commented on the mental health issue.

“This is someone who young people identify with and can see themselves in and follow closely online.”

Parting words from Angus’ mother.

Angus’ mom wrote, “When we hugged goodnight, we said how much we loved each other, and he said he would see me in the morning.”

Lisa added, “He did not intend to end his life.”

Lisa’s parting words, she asked “To honour his memory, please make random acts of kindness part of your daily life.”
