Taylor Swift Announces Additional Eras Tour Dates In Canada

Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau’s plea worked! Taylor Swift is officially bringing The Eras Tour to Canada.

Justin Trudeau subtweeted Taylor Swift, inviting her to bring The Eras Tour to Canada. He said, “It’s me, hi. I know places in Canada would love to have you. So, don’t make it another cruel summer. We hope to see you soon.” Now, one month later, Taylor has announced new Canadian tour dates!

Taylor Swift will be playing six shows in Toronto, Ontario on: November fourteenth, fifteenth, sixteenth, twenty first, twenty second and twenty third. Ticket prices are already through the roof! The shows are expected to bring in around sixty to seventy-five million dollars, and registration for pre-sales are already over.

Trudeau commented on The Eras Tour coming to Canada, simply saying “We’re ready for it” (referring to Taylor Swifts’ song ‘Are you ready for it?’).

Getting tickets to The Eras Tour has proven to be a very difficult and intense job. When tickets first went on sale in the United States Ticketmaster’s website shutdown and oversold their tickets in the pre-sales. These tickets are now reselling for up to twenty thousand dollars.

Now heading into new ticket sales, Canadian fans are preparing for the worst. One twitter user compared getting Taylor Swift tickets to ‘The Hunger Games’. Saying: “it’s up to us now that who’ll be the luckiest ones to get the emails/codes on the 8th and tickets on the 9th – 11th! MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOR, BESTIES! ???”
