Research by Sky and NOW reveals one in four Brits will not shower for days this Christmas period.
January 10, 2025: One in four Brits will not be showering for days this Christmas.
Comfort Over Cleanliness: Staying in PJs
Research by broadcaster and telecommunications firm Sky and the company’s streaming service NOW has revealed many will be keeping their underwear on for more than a day during the festive period.
Also, 55 per cent will remain in their pyjamas for at least 24 hours as they get comfortable in their homes while celebrating Christmas and New Year.
Some will even fib to avoid socialising so they can stay at home and watch their favourite films and TV shows.
Binge-Watching Beats Socialising
A Sky spokesman told the Daily Star newspaper: “A fifth will even go up to five days without leaving the house between Christmas and New Year.
“Meanwhile, 22 per cent of Brits will lie to loved ones to avoid socialising beyond December 25 and, instead, favour time at home bingeing boxsets and watching movies.”
