Fans have called Chance the Rapper out for grinding against a woman at a Jamaican festival. Since he is a married man with children, fans are outraged that he danced provocatively. HOLR breaks down what happened.

What Festival was Chance the Rapper at?

Page Six says Chance the Rapper was at Carnival 2023 in Jamaica on the weekend. His attendance at the carnival is supposedly his way of celebrating his 30th birthday.

On Monday, the internet was shocked to see an Instagram video of him and model Mella Millz dancing together. Chance the Rapper was shirtless while the model was wearing traditional garb.

The outrage from his fans is mostly directed at the fact that he leaned back against Mella Millz and slapped his butt. A Twitter user even accused him of having no class. Another person thinks the rapper was behaving inappropriately and cheating on his wife. Other people, however, quickly pointed out that dancing at the carnival is an important part of the Caribbean cultural celebration and it’s normal.
