Ever wonder about the secret to selecting the perfect lineup of profile pictures for your dating profile? The team at Hinge, Canada’s fastest growing dating app, has identified the profile pictures that are more likely to catch another singles eye (and the ones that are the least likely to get you a match).
Hinge prides itself as being an app that is “Designed to be Deleted”. Its latest global ad campaign, launching this summer, celebrates the ultimate moment all dating apps users long for — finally deleting their profile. Its new ad spots playfully feature daters sharing the news with their cliche profile pictures that it’s time to break up as they’ve met their perfect match.
As a part of the new campaign, Hinge is sharing its list of the most effective (and least effective) dating app photos based on its user activity:
-
Do Share Puppy Pics: 35% of Hinge users are more likely to send a comment if someone’s profile picture includes a dog.
Don’t Share Fish Pics: Half (51%) of Hinge users are less likely to send a comment if someone’s profile picture shows them holding up a fish.
-
Do Share Travel Pics: Half (52%) of Hinge users are more likely to send a comment if someone’s profile picture shows them traveling.
