Glen Powell and the cast of “Twisters” walk the red carpet for the L.A. premiere.

July 12, 2024- “Twisters” stars Daisy Edgar-Jones and Glen Powell hit the red carpet for the film’s L.A. premiere on Thursday, July 11^th.

The film’s producers, Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley, walked the red carpet alongside the cast at the Regency Village Theater.

Powell also brought his furry companion, Brisket, to walk the red carpet with him.

Brisket, a rescue dog, was adopted by Powell while filming “Twisters.”

The upcoming disaster thriller, directed by Lee Isaac Chung, follows a group of storm-chasers as they test a newly developed tornado tracker while fighting for their lives on the plains of Oklahoma.

Cast of Twisters 2024

The cast of “Twisters” is star-studded, with Daisy Edgar-Jones and Glen Powell in lead roles.

Jones, 26, is known for her roles in “Where the Crawdads Sing,” “Fresh,” and “Under the Banner of Heaven.”

Most notably, Jones is known for her role in the award-winning Irish series, “Normal People,” which earned her a nomination in 2021 for a BAFTA TV award.

On the other hand, Powell earned world-wide attention when he played Jake “Hangman” Seresin in “Top Gun: Maverick” in 2022.

The supporting cast of “Twisters” includes Anthony Ramos, Kiernan Shipka, David Corenswet, Katy M. O’Brian, and Maura Tierney.

When Does Twisters Come Out

“Twisters” official release date is July 19^th, 2024.

The film’s budget has hit $200 million, with fans already dubbing it “the movie of the summer”.

According to SYFY, a lot of “Twisters” was filmed in Oklahoma.

Several scenes were filmed in Oklahoma City, Chickasha, El Reno, and Okarche.

Aside from “Top Gun: Maverick,” Powell has starred in the hit 2023 romcom “Anyone but You.”

Powell and his co-star, Sydney Sweeney, made headlines on the press tour for the film, as fans speculated the two were having an affair off-screen.

The pair shut down the rumours following the release of the film, hinting that the chemistry during the press tour was a way to market the film.
