In an exclusive with PEOPLE, the new memoir is about Jill standing up for herself to her family.

And wow! Jill did not pull any punches as she told her side of the story from her time on reality show 19 Kids and Counting.

She spoke of conflicts surrounding Jill and her husband Derick and her father Jim Bob, accusing him of keeping money from the show to himself.

But now, Jill ups the ante and accused her father of treating her the same way he treated her convict brother Josh Duggar.

“You treat me worse than you treat my pedophile brother.”

The memoir goes into great detail, her experiences with the show but has she crossed the line?

After all, the acts of her brother toward his own sisters are nothing short of evil so to tar her own father with that brush might be going too far.

But then, the parents admitted to the acts just as Josh did.

Nevertheless, Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar did have something to say.

“We love all of our children very much.”

As with any family, few things are more painful than conflicts or problems among those you love.”

Concluding the statement by saying-,

“We do not believe the best way to resolve conflicts, facilitate forgiveness and reconciliation, or to communicate through difficulties is through the media or in a public forum so we will not comment.”

Social media has their say about the book.

Meanwhile people supported the effort Jill seemed to be trying to make in taking back control and try to tell her story,

While others applauded her strength.
