What is going on with Joe and Sophie?

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner move forward with a more peaceful approach to their divorce.

And according to outlet Page Six, on Wednesday Jonas filed to dismiss the Miami divorce proceedings.

But what happened?

While the divorce has been contentious for some time, a mediation this past week saw the pair come to an amicable agreement.

“After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the US and the UK,” Jonas and Turner told Page Six.

But how does dismissing the divorce case in Miami tie into their mediation?

A source close to Jonas revealed the possible reason for how and why.

“Joe is committed to making it work with Sophie in mediation and doesn’t want to put up a fight as long as they can come to a fair agreement on the kids,” the source revealed.

So, rather than drag this out in public and letting it get nastier, the pair are opting to resolve the divorce privately and amicably.

What’s next for Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner?

Meanwhile, until January, Jonas and Turner’s two children will split their time between their parents.

But what happens after that?

Just have to wait and see, I guess.

In the meantime, Jonas continues the tour with his brothers in the US and presumably Turner will return to work in the UK.

Are people just over the Jonas and Turner divorce?

Because the response to them lately has been met with indifference and outright scorn.

In fact, X users are pretty much over it!

While some congratulate the pair on coming to an agreement, others are mocking them.

“If you care about this with the state of the world, please examine your priorities. This is nonsense,” said one post.

Another user said, “Oh, good. Signed, who *** cares.”

Not news,” said another.

Perhaps it’s time to move on to greener pastures and let this be?
