Passenger jumps out of plane footage goes viral. HOLR breaks down what happened below.

According to this TikTok video posted by user @dailymail, a shocking moment shows what happened after a passenger jumped out of a stationary Southwest airplane.

As noted in the video, the passenger allegedly jumped out of the plane, hopped onto the wing, and sprinted out of the aircraft onto the tarmac. He then supposedly tried to hijack an airport service truck before being tackled. Other passengers on board the aircraft got video footage of the incident and it has been going viral online.

For instance, this video posted by user @flightsimstuff shows the panic onboard the flight as other passengers try to file out of the plane following the incident. The Southwest Flight 3172 was reportedly scheduled to go from New Orleans to Atlanta. It is also alleged that the man who jumped out of the plane while at the gate reportedly placed something on the plane while exiting, as supposedly noted by other passengers.

Passenger Jumps Out Of Plane

As of right now, the passenger has been unidentified- it is only known that he is allegedly 38 years old. He was reportedly not arrested or criminally charged. Deputies allegedly stated that his behavior was allegedly the result of a ‘mental health emergency.’ However, following this event, the investigation has now been referred to federal employees as outlined in the @dailymail video above.
