Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes just got pranked by former All-Pro and six-time Pro-Bowl wide receiver, Brandon Marshall.

As mentioned here, Marshall pranked Mahomes by mentioning Rihanna. Rihanna will be taking the stage as this year’s Super Bowl halftime performer. Marshall told Mahomes, “Rihanna came out and said you were the greatest quarterback ever. Hearing that, how does that make you feel?”

Mahomes smiled at the news and said, “That makes me feel great. She’s going to crush it at halftime. I have family members that I think are more excited about the halftime show than they are about the game. Whatever Rihanna says is like the gospel so I’m glad that she went with me for that honor.”

Then, the truth came out when Marshall followed up by saying, “She didn’t. I was just messing with you.”

Mahomes replied with, “Man, you got me up here smilin.” As a result, the room full of media erupted with laughter.
