And in the latest one, the self-depreciation could be a telling sign that she might want things to change.

Whether herself or the world around her needed to change, only she knows.’

“I’m single,” she said in June. “I’m just a little high maintenance.”

Selena Gomez happy with single life?

Previously though, Gomez had suggested that she had embraced the standards she had for a relationship.

“I think I have standards, and I think I live in a world right now where boys confuse standards with high maintenance,” she told SiriusXM.

“I’m not ashamed to say, ‘I actually require X, Y, and Z for you to be with me’.”

And that’s ok, a good guy would be willing to meet her halfway, I guess.

But what do you think? Should Selena Gomez rethink some of her standards for a happier balanced life?
