According to recent news, Selena Gomez and Zayn Malik allegedly went on a dinner date in NYC earlier this month. However, this might not be their first time dating! An insider opened up to PageSix about the singers’ dating history. According to that person, the Love You Like A Love Song singer and the former One Direction member dated a while back, when Selena’s best friend, Taylor Swift, was dating Harry Styles.

“They had a thing years ago, when Taylor and Harry were dating.” the source told PageSix. “It doesn’t surprise me at all that they’re potentially together [today].” the insider continued.

Earlier this month, Selena Gomez and Zayn Malik sparked dating rumors as they were seen having dinner together at a NYC restaurant. The news became popular after Klarissa Garcia talked about the two singers kissing during that night in a TikTok video, showing messages she had received from her friend working at the restaurant Gomez and Malik had gone to.
