MyKayla Skinner is reportedly asking Simone Biles to help her end cyberbullying. Skinner entered the news recently for making harsh remarks against Biles and the other girls on Team USA Gymnastics. While Simone hasn’t directly addressed the situation, she did make comments, and her caption on an Instagram post reflects her response to Skinner’s previous comments. The beef, however, didn’t end as Simon Biles fans came for the former gymnast and her family following her harsh remarks and public apology. While Skinner claims to have reached out to each girl on Team USA to give them private apologies, fans of the team are still not happy with how Skinner handled/started this situation.
Skinner, as well as her husband and child, have now been targets of harsh messages and attacks following the Team USA win. Skinner put out a message stating, “To Simone, I am asking you directly and publicly to please put a stop to this,” hoping Biles’ words could stop certain fans from making remarks about Skinner and her family. While Biles has yet to comment more on the situation, fans are hoping Skinner has learned a lesson from the situation. Many people have said they feel bad Skinner is now facing threatening remarks, but none of it would have ever happened if she hadn’t made comments against the team in the first place. Biles, as well as the rest of Team USA, have not commented further on the situation.
