Australian B-Girl Raygun has been going viral for the past few days. This year, the Summer Olympics took place in Paris, and Breakdancing was introduced as a new sport for athletes. Many viewers of the Olympics were disappointed by the moves they saw during the Breakdancing event. However, B-Girl Raygun went viral for a routine that the internet found more funny than qualified. Rachel Gunn (Raygun) performed a routine for the games that earned zero points from the judges. Since then, the internet has been flooded with memes imitating Rachel’s routine.

Although the internet has been joking about the performance, Gunn isn’t having as much fun with the jokes. Rachel apologized and tried to clear her name as new accusations came to light. Many viewers questioned how she got to the Olympics and felt many people could copy the skills she displayed. Furthermore, a rumor was started that Gunn rigged the selection process so that she would be picked to go to the games.
Rachel denies any manipulation on her end and says she honestly tried her best at the games. “While I went out there and I had fun, I did take it very seriously,” she said. “I worked my butt off preparing for the Olympics, and I gave my all, truly.”. Following this year’s games, the Olympic committee has decided not to bring Breakdancing back to the next Summer Olympics. The following games will take place in 2028 in Los Angeles, California.
