The canonization of the first millennial saint, Carlo Acutis is currently underway. The Italian teenager from London passed away in 2006 following a battle with leukemia. However, it was revealed that he performed two miracles. He is being referenced as “God’s influencer.”
Update: Acutis will be elevated to sainthood but the timeline for this process has not been announced- yet.
Britney Spears Beach Video Goes Viral
A video uploaded by Britney Spears on Instagram has gone viral after it showed the star lying on the sand, nude. She captioned the post “Hello to my a** !!!” which stirred controversy online.
Update: Spears continues to post videos and images on social media. However, none of the clips she has recently uploaded have been as scandalous as the beach video, which made headlines this past week.
Grayson Murray Commits Suicide
Young golf legend Grayson Murray passed away at the age of 30, suddenly. Murray had withdrawn from the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial in the second round recently, citing an “illness” and then passed away shortly after, shocking the golf community.
Update: It was recently revealed that Murray committed suicide. Murray was open about his mental health struggles and had previously struggled with depression, anxiety, and alcohol abuse. It is currently unclear why Murray took his own life.
Are Bridgerton Actors Luke Newton and Nicola Coughlan Dating?
Luke Newton- who plays Colin Bridgerton- and Nicola Coughlan- who plays Penelope Featherington- in Netflix’s Bridgerton, have been rumored to be more than friends after the pair were spotted together. Was it a friends-to-lovers situation in real life, as played out in the show? Allegedly, not. Newton is now rumored to be linked to model, Antonia Roumelioti, recently, but this has not officially been confirmed.
Update: Newton and Coughlan- whose characters have fallen in love in Bridgerton- seem like great friends IRL. Right now, their relationship status remains friendly as Newton is being linked to another woman. However, nothing has been officially confirmed so the internet continues to speculate.
