As the TikToker explains, social media users are in a frenzy after Coughlan’s latest post, which shows her and Newton celebrating hitting 45 million views within 5 days of Season 3 being out on Netflix. It appears as though the duo are out and about, alone, and that Coughlan has a polaroid of the pair in her phone case.
This sparked chatter online about the duo possibly being in a relationship or dating IRL. As the TikToker details, fans of the show really want to see the pair together in the real world after seeing them go from friends to lovers on-screen in Season 3.
However, Coughlan has claimed that the duo are just friends, in a recent interview with Extra. “We think it’s really sweet, I think because we truly love each other,” she said.
