New updates regarding a recent shooting that took place at a Trader Joe’s parking lot in Los Angeles have emerged. HOLR has the details.

A shooting that took place on Saturday outside of a Los Angele’s-based Trader Joe’s grocery store in the parking lot left one dead and three people injured. HOLR has the latest details below.

The shooting reportedly took place around 3:45 p.m. in the community of West Hills in the San Fernando Valley, as mentioned here.

Trader Joe’s Suspects, Death, Injuries

Following the shooting, a 45-year-old was declared dead on the scene, while a 35-year-old woman was hospitalized in critical condition. A 35-year-old woman as well as a 45-year-old man was in serious to critical condition as outlined by officials responding to the scene.

According to this article, the suspects at large were recently apprehended. A man and woman were taken into custody following the incident after surrendering to the police due to a manhunt that was underway for the suspects. The reason for the shooting has yet to be uncovered or released. An investigation is underway which will dive into why the shooting took place, however, some outlets have reported that it is due to a drug deal having gone wrong, as noted here.

Two firearms were reportedly found at the initial scene, as well (mentioned here). A witness account stated that he heard “a couple of pops’ and saw people panicking” as mentioned in the article.
