Viral before and after photos of a man who got several surgeries done in Turkey are going viral on platforms like Reddit.
Turkey ranks as one of the top nations for aesthetic surgeries, as noted here. As a result, the country seemingly sees a lot of medical tourists. However, a viral before-and-after series of a patient named Michael posted on Instagram here is making its rounds on platforms such as Reddit. The post was uploaded by Este Medical Group Istanbul and the caption reads:

People took to the comment section to check if they were being “trolled” or not as this transformation seemed too good to be true. However, the brand’s IG page shows a ton of before and after series from the Medical Group which go into detail about the procedures used to enhance their clients’ appearance.

This photo series has sparked a widespread debate on Reddit, with people questioning if this is even the same person. Check out some comments below from the popular Reddit thread:
“So did he get an ear transplant too? Because it’s not the same ear.”
“Ain’t no way that’s the same person!”
“Obviously not the same person. Is this that kind of humor that is supposed to be funny because of how ridiculous it is? Do people actually see these things and believe them?”
There are also allegations of Photoshop being involved in the before and after series- although this has not been confirmed.
There is no evidence to support claims that this is not the same person as the Medical Group states that this before and after is of the patient, Michael.
