Vanna White and Pat Sajak’s ‘Wheel of Fortune’ contracts are reportedly up at the end of the 2023-2024 season. Two weeks ago Pat Sajak announced that this will be his last season as he has decided to enter retirement. Ryan Seacrest is set to take over Sajak’s position on the show with an expected $28 million yearly salary making him the highest-paid TV personality ever. During his time on the show, Pat Sajak reportedly had a salary of $15 million a year. Vanna White’s salary has been confirmed to be $3 million a year and she has not had a single pay raise in 18 years.

Vanna is demanding a salary increase with her new contract. White’s lawyer Bryan Freedman says she’s not demanding equal pay with her new host, but is demanding a minimum of half the amount Pat Sajak’s makes. This would bring her annual salary to $7.5 million that’s a $4.5 million pay increase.

Those close to White say she is clear on the fact that “she is the co-host of the long running show, so the pay disparity between her and Pat needs to be squarely addressed. Point of fact … they’re introduced this way on ‘Wheel of Fortune’ – “Here are the stars of our show, Pat Sajak and Vanna White”‘. One source says SONY is being very difficult with negations and though Vanna doesn’t want to leave the show,”if she doesn’t get what she believes is “a minimum of what is fair,” that’s a real possibility”.
