According to this TikTok video posted by user @guardianaustralia, this video of a mouse tidying up wildlife photographer Rodney Holbrook’s shed has gone viral online!

The mouse was reportedly secretly filmed cleaning up Holbrook’s shed, in which the event was caught on camera and has since gone viral on the internet. According to the caption of the above TikTok video, the mouse has been on this task for approximately 2 months.
According to this related article, Holbrook set up a night vision camera after noticing things from the night before being mysteriously tidied up. The article also included a quote from Holbrook about the event:
“At first I noticed that some food that I was putting out for the birds was ending up in some old shoes I was storing in the shed. Ninety-nine times out of 100 the mouse will tidy up throughout the night. It is incredible really that they put them all back in the box, I think it’s possible that they enjoy it.”
Allegedly, Holbrook doesn’t even bother tidying up anymore after it was revealed the mouse was helping him finish the job. Now, he assumes that if he leaves things out of the box they will be put back in by morning. As noted here, the footage seemingly captured the mouse picking up things such as corks, nuts, and bolts, and tidying them up in the process, making for a hilarious watch.
