Eddie Murphy returns as Axel Foley after 30 years.

Netflix releases the teaser trailer of Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F. It marks the return of Eddie Murphy as Axel Foley and the Beverly Hills Cop franchise. The last movie of the franchise was Beverly Hills Cop III in 1994. The first movie, Beverly Hills Cop, was released in 1984, and the second movie, Beverly Hills Cop II, was released in 1987.

Other than Eddie reprising his role as Axel Foley. Judge Reinhold reprising Billy Rosewood, John Taggart returns as John Ashton, Serge as Bronson Pinchot, and Paul Reiser as Det. Jeffrey Friedman.

They are joined by some of the new faces, “Beverly Hills Cop” universe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Kevin Bacon and Taylour Paige.

Eddie is returning to the character after 30 years, which proved to be challenging for him. He mentioned it to People Magazine.

“It’s a really physical movie and I had to do some physical stuff…. I like to be on the couch, I don’t like to be jumping over and shooting and running. And I had to do some jumping and shooting and running. And as a result… at the end of the movie, I had a knee brace and my back is messed up. But the movie is gonna be special.”

Mark Molley directs it. Screenplay by Will Beall, Tom Gormican and Kevin Etten. Eddie Murphy, Jerry Bruckheimer, Chad Oman and Melissa Reid produced the film. Ray Angelic, Charisse Hewitt-Webster and Lorenzo Di Bonaventura serve as executive producers.
