What was Megan Rapinoe’s injury?
She received a standing ovation after a leg injury caused her to exit the National Women’s Soccer League final between OL Reign, and Gotham FC. In an emotional exit, Rapinoe endured a non-contact calf injury which occurred in the third minute of the match as mentioned here.
The sports star recently claimed that she was retiring from soccer back in July.
