Robinson’s 30-day visa expired in November, but she chose not to leave Pakistan, with her story gaining attention after clips were shared extensively on Instagram and TikTok, causing her situation to go viral on social media.

On February 7, Onijah Andrew Robinson arrived in Dubai from Karachi aboard Emirates flight EK603. She was originally scheduled to board flight EK203 to New York but did not board the flight. As a U.S. citizen, Robinson entered Dubai with an on-arrival visa (as noted here).
