Superstar Justin Timberlake kicked off the show by singing a medley of “Selfish” and “No Angels” from his new album Everything I Thought It Was. Timberlake began the performance with an acoustic version of “Selfish” before switching to a more upbeat performance for “No Angels.”

Presented the show’s Icon Award from former co-star Meryl Streep, legendary artist Cher and fellow Grammy- and Oscar-winning performer Jennifer Hudson took to the stage for a rendition of “Believe.”

Hudson began the song with her powerful vocals before Cher took to the stage.

“She needs no introduction,” Hudson stated. She rejoined Cher to close out the performance.

Jelly Roll and Lainey Save Me Tate McRae Greedy

Other notable performances of the night included Jelly Roll and Lainey Wilson singing a stripped-down “Save Me” a song they collaborated to make together. Tate McRae rocked the house with her song “Greedy.”
