As the TikToker notes, supposedly, the NBA ran a vote online where people could vote on player Jayson Tatum’s new shoes. However, when they reportedly ran this vote it is believed that they didn’t realize that anyone who allegedly voted would get the NBA league pass premium- completely free. Allegedly, this league pass premium is very pricey.

According to the TikToker, shortly after this voting went live, people reportedly started spreading claims that voting would get you a league pass premium for free and that’s when everyone started voting. When the NBA figured this out, it was allegedly “too late for them.”

The TikToker notes that over 175,000 people had already clicked the link to vote with many likely voting as it only took 2 minutes to complete. It is estimated that the NBA lost out on love $48 million because of this vote and alleged mistake.

What are your thoughts on this alleged news?!
