Video footage shows the moment Spears was slapped by Wembanyama’s security after she tapped him on the shoulder in order to “get his attention” in what was supposed to be a friendly interaction. The TikTok video shows the reposted video- reportedly obtained by TMZ- of Spears being slapped and was posted by user @yourbestfriendjoshua.

As seen in the now-viral video, Spears innocently went up to Wembanyama to talk to him and was immediately slapped by his security guard. You can hear someone in the video say, “Yo that’s Britney Spears” after the incident. Allegedly, sources claimed that Wembanyama’s head of security “went over to Britney and apologized” and that the duo’s own security teams talked, noted here. Supposedly, the security team will not face charges following the physical altercation that took place with Spears as mentioned here.
