It’s winter time in the city and that means shorter days, longer nights, and pretty sparkling lights. This weekend the Toronto Distillery District transformed into a bright winter wonderland as they launched the 4th annual Toronto Light Festival.

From January 17th until March 1st, embark on a special visual adventure as you wander through the Toronto Distillery District. Taking in the incredible light artwork from local and international light artists, you’ll gaze in awe at the inspiring lights meant to provoke thought, evoke emotion, and provide joy.

“We wanted to create something special, a happening that would lift the collective spirit of the city. In a world with so many dark and ominous messages, our goal is to create a positive, magical urban oasis where people of all ages and backgrounds can and will enjoy together.” – Toronto Light Show

Now this is the Great White North and temperatures can drop to -20 , so make sure to bundle up, stop by one of the cafes to grab a hot chocolate, and have fun taking your time enjoying the journey.
