A 2-year-old boy who was previously missing has been found dead in an alligator’s mouth.
2-year-old Taylen Mosley has been missing since his mother was found dead inside their Florida home, as reported here. The mother’s body was reportedly found in “a very violent homicide scene” as mentioned in the article.
Taylen was proclaimed missing and the St. Petersburg Police subsequently issued an amber alert for him. However, the search has since been called off after Mosely was found dead inside an alligator’s mouth, as noted here. A statement issued by police stated, “The alligator was killed in order to retrieve the body, confirmed as that of Taylen Mosley. The medical examiner will determine what caused his death.”

The investigation led detectives to search Dell Holmes Park, 2741 22nd Street South, and Lake Maggiore. After spending all day searching the area, this evening officers were alerted to an alligator seen with something in its mouth. The alligator was killed in order to retrieve the body, confirmed as that of Taylen Mosley. The medical examiner will determine what caused his death.”

One for the death of Taylen’s mother, Pashun Jeffery, and one for his son. As mentioned in this article, Thomas was “booked into the Pinellas County jail.”
