A new year means new beginnings. For some people, this could look like an organization, new habits or perhaps a new hair colour. “The trends right now are very reflective of what is happening in the world and peoples lives”, according to Co-founder and Lead Colorist at Color Space, Lupe Voss.

Hair colour trends for 2021 are leaning one of two ways: either very low-key for less maintenance or the complete opposite with people looking to experiment with energetic shades for a sense of optimism. Whichever direction you are feeling, Lupe Voss breaks down the biggest hair colour trends for this year.
