Simpson hints briefly at being the other woman with a “massive movie star” who used to be her crush when she was younger. According to Simpson, the star claimed to be single at the time but photos of the star and his then-girlfriend surfaced causing Simpson to have doubts. “I was never ever in a million years going to be the other woman,” she said.
The two reportedly hooked up, in which Simpson made out with the star at the Beverly Hills Hotel after her split from Nick Lachey. According to Simpson, the star claimed that he and his girlfriend were “completely over,” as mentioned here. However, Simpson eventually left him and thus “didn’t care if he was my teenage fantasy come to life, this was not a choice that same girl, my younger self, would be proud of,” she said.

A lot of people are speculating about who this mystery man could be! We have a few hints involving the star being famous while Simpson was a teen, but other than that it’s not much to go off of! She noted that the star reportedly wore jeans and a T-shirt to the 2001 VMAs, so that’s another clue.

According to this post, some might say these hints lead to Mark Wahlberg- who is originally from Boston (hence the choice of spelling). Others have guessed Will Smith, and Kid Rock, who – in addition to Wahlberg- both wore jeans and a tee to the 2001 VMAs as mentioned here.
